Being honest is the number one thing for me even if it hurts to be. I would rather someone hurt me and tell me the truth, then lie to me and be content and not know the truth. I believe that if you lie and try to keep it, it will only get worse and even up even more badly then if you would of just told the truth in the first place. Honesty is one of the best traits someone can have. For example would you pick a friend, or significant other that couldn’t be honest with you or vice versa? I think that to have a good stable friendship or relationship you need to be honest because there is no other way. I would respect someone so much more if they were honest with me instead of lying to protect me from getting hurt, yes of course people who care about you will try to prevent you from getting hurt but if they really care they would want you to know the truth and not let you get hurt not knowing the truth. I don’t know that made sense to me. Well yeah being honest just works out the best!
